We continue our committed journey towards a green future by proudly announcing that StormGeo’s headquarters in Bergen, Norway, is recertified in ISO 14001:2015 through the certification body LRQA.

This environmental management system standard facilitates and supports companies to become environmentally compliant, ensuring continuous improvement in their environmental performance and responsibilities in a way that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.

The ISO 14001:2015 recertification provides credibility to our products and services while enabling us to earn the trust of our interested parties.

Strengthening our environmental objectives

Our environmental objectives are strengthened by utilizing the ISO 14001:2015 standard:

We help our customers to reduce their emissions and help them to navigate a changing environment amid climate change.

  • 77 million + homes powered by StormGeo-supported offshore wind farms. And, with 73,000 voyages routed annually, we have helped our shipping clients save approximately over 5 million MT of fuel with weather routing, averting over 15 million MT of CO2 in over a decade.

We do our part internally to reduce emissions, recycle waste and optimize energy consumption.

  • We have committed to and are approved with Science Based Targets through the Alfa Laval Marine Division.

We are proud members of the UN global compact and support the 17 SDGs. Through this we advocate for a more sustainable future and are vocal ambassadors for a healthier planet. We use our platform to endorse and support sustainable behavior.

  • We have been a participant and communicated our progress since 2018. You can find our latest Communication on Progress here.

StormGeo first became ISO 14001:2015 certified in 2021.
