Petty Leung has been involved in weather intelligence in the maritime industry for over 30 years. Petty understands the impact of weather. Her encounters with severe weather at sea during her days sailing onboard commercial ships have made her familiar with how risks can best be avoided by staying informed. She first sailed as a Radio Officer with the Swire Group, then landed her first shore job in a weather routing company and has been dedicated to the segment ever since.

Currently, Petty is the Managing Director for the Greater China region and the Sales Director for North Asia at StormGeo.

Michael Qiao joined StormGeo as Market Development Manager of FPM in 2019 Dec. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical & Automation Engineering in The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in The University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining StormGeo, he had more than 10 years of experience in application, project management and sales of Caterpillar marine engines & propulsion products. Michael is a firm believer of the great potential and value that digitalization could create for the maritime industry, to navigate a changing environment toward decarbonization.

Jaebok Lee is a distinguished attorney at Kim & Chang, specializing in shipping, insurance, and ship finance. With a robust reputation in the shipping industry, Mr. Lee has extensive experience in handling charterparty disputes, cargo claims, and marine insurance matters. His practical expertise stems from his tenure as a claims manager at a major Korean shipping company and the P&I Club. Mr. Lee's practice also includes ship finance, where he drafts finance documents for new and second-hand vessels. Since joining Kim & Chang in 2006, he has represented ship finance institutions, shipowners, and Korean contractors. Additionally, Mr. Lee is a sought-after speaker at maritime seminars and has co-authored the Shipping Finance Review 2012/13: Korea section.
