About the job

Are you ready to take your career to the next level and join the StormGeo team as a Forecaster?

As a member of our dynamic team, you will be at the forefront of decision-making, providing critical weather support to a wide range of industries, including offshore oil and gas, renewable energy, shipping, aviation, and road operations. Your work will be fast-paced, exciting, and impactful, helping our clients make informed decisions that keep their operations running smoothly and safely.

In addition to forecasting, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of tasks, including forecast verification, customer training, offshore deployments, and more. You will work closely with our global forecast centers and become part of our team of expert meteorologists based in Aberdeen, UK.

To excel in this role, you must be willing to work on a shift rotation that includes nights, weekends, and public holidays. Recent experience in marine, renewable energy, and aviation forecasting will be an advantage, along with a formal qualification in meteorology, forecasting experience, and demonstrable fluency in both written and spoken English.
