Vessel Performance Manager

About the role

The Vessel Performance Manager will act as a local customer-facing expert for StormGeo solutions in Türkiye, with a particular focus on s-Insight. The role combines maritime operational knowledge, customer support, and product enablement to help clients optimize vessel and fleet performance.

Based in Türkiye and supporting customers across the Middle East, the Vessel Performance Manager will work closely with clients to ensure effective use of StormGeo products, identify performance improvement opportunities, and provide shipping expertise during customer and sales engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Support customers on site in Türkiye and act as a trusted local contact
• Deliver onboarding, training, and guidance on StormGeo products, especially s-Insight
• Help customers analyze vessel performance, fuel efficiency, emissions, and operational KPIs
• Support sales colleagues during customer meetings, demos, and commercial discussions
• Collect customer feedback and share improvement suggestions internally
• Support customers with environmental reporting topics such as CII, EU MRV, IMO DCS, EU ETS, and FuelEU Maritime
• Represent StormGeo during client meetings, workshops, and industry events

Requirements

• Background in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, Maritime Studies, or similar
• Experience in shipping, vessel performance, fleet operations, technical management, or maritime software
• Understanding of vessel performance, fuel efficiency, emissions, and maritime KPIs
• Strong communication skills in Turkish and English
• Commercial mindset and ability to support customer and sales discussions
• Proactive and service-oriented approach
• Willingness to travel within Türkiye and the Middle East
