Technical Support Specialist

About the Role 

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist with a background in maritime navigation and technical expertise to join our Operations team. This role involves resolving technical support cases related to our onboard software and P&N content, enhancing client experience, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.

Key Responsibilities

•    Analyze and resolve technical support cases using guidelines and procedures.
•    Provide professional and efficient assistance to clients via ticketing system, phone, or other channels.
•    Communicate and document case resolutions, including root cause analysis and estimated time to fix.
•    Assist in software release rollouts and contribute to knowledge base documentation.
•    Collaborate with third-party providers and internal teams to resolve complex issues.
•    Offer insights to Product Management & Development for product enhancements.

Main Requirements

•    Educational background in technical or maritime fields, such as Computer Science or Nautical Studies.
•    Maritime experience and qualifications, particularly in bridge/navigation roles.
•    Proven experience in customer service or product support for software products.
•    Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a global team.
•    Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
•    Please note: We are currently looking to hire Singaporeans or Permanent Residents (PRs) for this position.
