Fleet Data Integration Manager

About the role

StormGeo is seeking a Fleet Data Integration Manager to lead our Fleet Data Integration function and ensure the reliable and accurate exchange of vessel-reported data between StormGeo systems and our clients' Veson IMOS platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing client relationships, leading a dedicated team, and driving continuous improvements across integration processes, internal tools, and operational workflows. Your focus will be on delivering scalable, high-quality, and dependable data integration services that support both customer success and operational excellence.

This position can be based at any StormGeo office location, offering flexibility to work from one of our global offices.

Main responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding fleet data integration services. 
• Build strong client relationships by ensuring reliable service delivery and proactively addressing integration challenges. 
• Lead, mentor, and develop the team, ensuring effective monitoring, issue resolution, and service delivery. 
• Manage escalations for complex integration or data transmission issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and clients. 
• Oversee integration processes to ensure accurate and reliable transmission of vessel-reported data to client system 
• Identify recurring issues and collaborate with Product and Development teams to improve integration workflows and tools. 
• Support onboarding of new clients and integrations. 

Requirements

• B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Physical Science, IT, Maritime, or related field. 
• 5+ years of experience in maritime data systems, vessel reporting, and operational data integration. 
• Experience managing technical support or operational teams. 
• Work experience with vessel reporting systems or maritime platforms such as Veson IMOS (preferred). 
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to translate operational issues into technical requirements. 
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• Ability to work effectively in environments driven by operational and client data challenges.
