Senior Product Designer

About the role

StormGeo is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Senior Product Designer to shape the visual and interactive aspects of our software applications. As a Senior Product Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing designs. Your expertise in user experience design will play a vital role in enhancing the overall usability and satisfaction of our software products.

Main Responsibilities

• Use Figma or Axure as the main design tool to create mockups and visual designs that effectively communicate the intended user experience and align with our brand identity.   
• Participate in client meetings and effectively communicate design concepts, incorporating client feedback and requirements.  
• Collaborate with the product team to conduct user research, surveys, and usability testing to gain insights into user behavior and preferences.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.  
• Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and emerging design trends. 
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in UI/UX design, sharing knowledge and promoting design thinking within the organization.  

Core Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Product Designer or similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of design projects.  
• Proficiency in Figma or Axure. 
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. 
• Strong visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics, typography, and layout.  
• Experience in conducting user research, surveys, and usability testing.  
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly and confidently present design decisions against peers and stakeholders.
