About the Role  

StormGeo is seeking a skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our ALMAP (Alfa Laval Marine Platform) team and contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions. You will become part of a solution that optimizes shipping operations. Our platform enables real-time monitoring of all onboard devices, analyzes fuel consumption, and ensures compliance with international emissions regulations. We aim not only to help ships reduce costs but also to promote greener shipping by optimizing routes and fuel usage. Main Responsibilities  

  • Design, develop and maintain web applications to meet business needs. 
  • Create frameworks and libraries for use by other teams to improve efficiency and code reusability. 
  • Ensure application security by following best practices and implementing secure coding standards. 
  • Optimize application performance for scalability and efficiency. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions. 
  • Conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices. 
  • Maintain documentation for development processes, system architecture, and codebases. 

Core Requirements  

  • 3+ years of experience with .NET and ASP.NET development. 
  • Experience with SQL databases. 
  • Experience in API development (REST or gRPC). 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. 
  • Understanding of software development best practices (code quality, security, performance). 
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Understanding of application containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar). 
  • Experience in system architecture design (Clean Architecture or other patterns). 
  • Familiarity with application monitoring (logs, metrics, observability tools). 
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. 
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS is a plus).
