About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced QA Manager to lead our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining QA processes, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software, and driving continuous improvements. You will lead a team of QA Engineers, ranging from junior to senior levels, fostering their professional growth and ensuring seamless collaboration with development teams. 

Your expertise will help shape the overall QA strategy, balancing manual and automated testing to improve test coverage and efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate QA into the development lifecycle, ensuring that quality is a fundamental part of our product releases. This role requires strong leadership, a proactive mindset, and a hands-on approach to building a high-performing QA function that aligns with business goals. 

Main Responsibilities  

  • Design and establish companywide QA processes, frameworks, and best practices to ensure software reliability and efficiency. 
  • Work closely with Development, Product Management, and other teams to integrate QA seamlessly into the software development lifecycle. 
  • Define and maintain a QA roadmap, aligning testing initiatives with business objectives and development goals. 
  • Develop and drive a comprehensive QA strategy, including manual and automated testing, to improve efficiency and test coverage. 
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards before release by defining test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria. 
  • Monitor and analyze key QA metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. 
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of QA engineers, fostering professional growth and career development. 
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to team members. 
  • Act as the main point of contact for all QA-related matters, ensuring smooth communication between QA and other departments. 
  • Work with project managers to allocate QA resources efficiently and ensure testing timelines are met. 
  • Advocate for quality and testing best practices across the organization. 
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in test automation, incorporating relevant innovations into QA practices.

Core Requirements 

  • Proven experience as a QA Manager, QA Lead, or similar leadership role in a software development environment. 
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices. 
  • Experience with test automation frameworks, tools, and strategies, including integration into CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing. 
  • Good knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and the role of QA within Agile teams. 
  • Proficiency in test management tools and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress). 
  • Experience in implementing or improving QA processes in a fast-growing or scaling organization. 
  • Understanding of security and compliance testing requirements. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive mindset. 
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and advocate for quality at all levels. 
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, as the role involves working with international teams. 
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing QA professionals.
