About the Role

As a Forecaster at StormGeo in Taiwan, you will join a global team dedicated to delivering accurate and impactful weather insights. The position is based in Taiwan but involves close collaboration with colleagues in Dubai and other international forecast centers, ensuring seamless 24/7 global coverage. You will have opportunities to grow professionally through engaging in specialized projects, forecast verification, and client training, making a meaningful impact while advancing your career in meteorology.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely weather forecasting to support decision-making for key industries
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure comprehensive and seamless 24/7 forecasting services
• Participate in activities beyond forecasting, including forecast verification, client training, and specialized projects
• Maintain high standards of communication and collaboration with expert meteorologists from around the world

Core Requirements

• Willingness to work on a shift rotation (including nights, weekends, and public holidays) as part of the Taiwan-Dubai rotation team
• Experience in marine, renewable energy, or aviation forecasting
• A formal qualification in meteorology or relevant forecasting experience
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
• Open-minded, enthusiastic team player who is systematic, structured, and proactive
• Strong communication skills and a passion for career development
