ChatGPT Integration & API Specialist

About the Role 

As the ChatGPT Integration & API Specialist, you will be at the forefront of deploying and optimizing genAI models within our applications, services, and workflows. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing API-based integrations, ensuring that our AI-powered services meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and user satisfaction. This role requires a proactive individual with experience in both API integration and generative AI tools, and a deep commitment to delivering intuitive, effective solutions. 

Preferred locations for this role are Lithuania, Norway, or Germany; however, we are open to considering other locations within Europe where StormGeo has an office.

Main Responsibilities 

• Develop, implement, and maintain API integrations for ChatGPT and other machine learning models across various platforms and services. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software developers, domain experts, and product managers, to identify opportunities for AI integration. 
• Optimize and monitor API performance, handling API requests, rate limits, and error management to ensure high reliability. 
• Work with ChatGPT Actions 
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for integration issues, collaborating closely with development teams to resolve technical challenges. 
• Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI-powered solutions that enhance user experiences and drive value. 
• Stay updated on advancements in AI, natural language processing, and API technology to ensure best practices in integration. 

Core Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications or equivalent work experience will be considered. 
• Demonstrated expertise in API development and management, with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON. 
• Proven experience integrating OpenAI or similar natural language processing models within applications. 
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or similar, with strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. 
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments and deployment practices, preferably with AWS, Azure, or GCP. 
• Ensure API security and compliance, adhering to industry standards and best practices in data handling and protection. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
